With our studies related to dual VET we supply points of reference for a modern design process for dual VET. For this purpose we develop concepts, draw up analyses and prepare the bases for decision-makers on educational policies.

Zentrale Themen der Untersuchung waren die Qualifizierungsleistungen der österreichischen Unternehmen, Rekrutierungsprobleme am Arbeitsmarkt und der branchenspezifische Qualifikationsbedarf. Hierzu wurde eine Erhebung zwischen Mai und Juli 2008 durchgeführt. Rund 1.200 Unternehmen ab 10 Beschäftigten haben sich an der Befragung beteiligt. Neben der eigenen schriftlichen Betriebsbefragung wurden der CVTS-3 und andere europäische Erhebungen herangezogen.
Key themes of the study were the benefits provided by Austrian companies in the form of CVET qualifica-tions to their staff as well as their recruitment problems on the labour market and sector-specific qualifi-cation needs. A relevant survey was conducted between May and July 2008. Some 1,200 companies with ten employees or more took part in the survey. Apart from the specific written company survey, CVTS-3 and other European surveys were used as the basis.
